About the Museum of Trees
The Museum of Trees is the living registry of the memorial forests at Hope Eternal Gardens, a natural burial cemetery in Southwest Florida. Our forests are planted in the Miyawaki method — many native trees and shrubs growing densely together as one young ecosystem — so each forest is represented here by a single tree, and that one tree's record speaks for the whole planting: its dedication, field reports, photographs, and growth notes tell the story of the forest it stands within. The museum is built and tended by Hope's founder, Lauren Robie, and the Hope team, who walk the forests, photograph them, and keep these records growing alongside the trees.
